Permits
Which truck may carry what,
on which roads, until when.
The Konvoi Permits module keeps every exceptional transport permit in one register: Belgian permits from WebTEUV (categories 1 to 4), UK STGO notifications and foreign permits, each linked to the tractors and trailers on it, with expiry alerts and the permit on the driver’s phone.
The permit is the document
A permit and its annexes are what gets shown at the roadside, so Konvoi puts the PDF first. Its notes sit in the margin, each tied to the place on the page where the value was read: which vehicle a chassis number is, which category the dimensions mean, which conditions apply to this combination and which do not.
Konvoi reads what WebTEUV issues. It does not apply for permits on your behalf; WebTEUV has no interface for that.
One register, every country
Belgian permits are read with their category, issuer and validity. UK STGO notifications keep their police-force issuer, embargo windows, escort conditions and route link. Permits from 13 other European countries are kept in the same register, with their conditions translated to English and Dutch.
Before the truck leaves
Conditions in the small print become structured: time bans and public holidays, escorts, advance notices with their deadline, and a pre-trip checklist. For category 4 permits with a route annex, Konvoi draws an advisory truck route you can export as GPX.
No permit lapses unnoticed
Expiring permits and gaps in coverage ride in the daily fleet-health e-mail. Default lead times follow the category: 90 days for category 1, 45 for 2, 21 for 3, 7 for 4 and 30 for foreign permits.
In the cab
The driver sees the permits of the vehicle they drive today in the driver portal: the PDF full screen, also offline, the conditions and departure windows, and a confirmation that the original is on board.
Questions
Can Konvoi apply for exceptional transport permits?
No. In Belgium permits are applied for in WebTEUV, which has no interface for other software. Konvoi reads the permits WebTEUV issues and manages them from there.
Which countries’ permits does Konvoi handle?
Belgian permits in categories 1 to 4, UK STGO notifications, and permits from the Netherlands, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, Italy, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Denmark and Spain.
How does Konvoi know which truck a permit is for?
It matches the chassis numbers printed on the permit to your vehicles, including reference and substitute tractors and trailers. A person confirms every permit before it counts.
Does Konvoi check the route the truck actually drove?
Not yet. Konvoi draws an advisory route for category 4 permits and exports it as GPX; checking the driven route against the permit is not available today.
